In the centre of the mandala the waves, as well as the dolphins, form the ancient Celtic symbol of �triskele� (the spiral). This symbol denotes a variety of �trinities� including earth, water and sky (and of course their inhabitants). It symbolizes a system in motion where each is a part of the whole and where one is affected, there is consequence to the whole system. The feeling of motion in this symbol represents action and progress (a revolution of sorts): all that is needed to bring our system back into balance and let sanity prevail.
